Responsibilities

- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, neuromorphic, climate tech) for commercial viability
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on technological disruption
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains (quantum, AI ethics, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry forums
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools and scenario planning frameworks
- Experience with venture capital funding cycles for deep tech ventures
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
