Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Collaborate with executive leadership to outline a comprehensive 3-year technology strategy that aligns with business goals and market trends.
- Architect Future-Proof Systems: Lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud-native architectures, focusing on high availability, security, and performance.
- Emerging Technology Integration: Identify, evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Computing, Edge IoT) to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Stakeholder Management: Bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into actionable business insights.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Cultivate a high-performance engineering culture, mentoring senior engineers and fostering professional growth within the team.
- Process Optimization: Oversee the modernization of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and DevOps practices to accelerate delivery times.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership or architecture role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to think long-term and translate high-level business objectives into technical execution plans.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to C-level executives.
- Certifications: PMP, TOGAF, or AWS Solutions Architect certification is a strong plus.
