Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning technological capabilities with market disruption opportunities
- Lead cross-functional pods in developing proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI)
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate innovation cycles
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026 business landscape
- Translate complex technical possibilities into compelling business cases and investor narratives
- Drive cultural transformation to embed innovation thinking across all organizational layers
- Report directly to Chief Strategy Officer on innovation KPIs and strategic portfolio performance
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or technology architecture roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two transformative tech initiatives with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, blockchain, biotech)
- Certification in Futures Thinking, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent innovation methodology
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with C-suite and board-level experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Strategy, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation projects with global impact
- Fluency in agile methodologies and lean innovation frameworks
