This executive role requires a strategic architect who can navigate complex global markets, anticipate technological disruptions, and drive cross-functional innovation ecosystems. You'll partner with C-suite executives to develop 3-year roadmaps that position Nexus at the forefront of emerging markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends and disruptors relevant to 2026 market landscapes
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Build and manage cross-functional innovation labs with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Drive portfolio strategy for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global innovation hubs
- Present innovation frameworks and market impact analyses to executive stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, corporate development, or venture strategy with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products or business models
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, Web3, biotech) and their commercial applications
- Certification in futures thinking, strategic foresight, or innovation management preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Master's degree in Business, Technology, or related field; PhD or MBA strongly preferred
