Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Innovation Blueprint, mapping emerging technologies to market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' teams to identify paradigm-shifting trends
- Architect strategic partnerships with quantum computing and synthetic biology pioneers
- Present visionary roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI/automation deployment in human-critical domains
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Future Leaders program
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation funding through strategic proposals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum systems, neurotech, climate tech, or decentralized AI
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR/STTR preferred)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
- Certification in Emerging Technology Impact Assessment (ETIA) preferred
