Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks for trend analysis and scenario planning
- Collaborate with product teams to translate future insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and cross-functional leadership
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, industry conferences, and published research
- Manage external partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global research bodies
- Monitor geopolitical, socioeconomic, and environmental variables affecting future business models
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption modeling
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities for complex concepts
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, etc.)
- Strong network within innovation ecosystems and futurist communities
- Portfolio demonstrating future-oriented projects or published research
