Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms targeting 2026 computational milestones
- Lead 12-person quantum research team across cryptography and optimization domains
- Develop post-quantum cryptographic protocols for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction techniques
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Quantum Information
- Mentor PhD candidates through quantum computing fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science
- 8+ years quantum algorithm development with published papers
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record in post-quantum cryptography research
- Experience leading international research teams
- Proficiency in tensor networks and quantum simulation tools
- Strong publication record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
