Responsibilities
- Architect next-gen quantum computing systems using superconducting qubits and topological quantum processors
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists in quantum algorithm development
- Design fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for 2026-era hardware capabilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise-scale applications
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum-resistant cybersecurity solutions
- Drive quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics and autonomous systems
- Secure patents for novel quantum architectures with commercialization potential
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum coherence or entanglement
- Expertise in quantum circuit design using Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks
- Proven track record in building scalable quantum annealing systems
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction thresholds and surface codes
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
