Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment
- Develop novel quantum algorithms solving complex optimization problems
- Lead quantum error correction protocol optimization for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic quantum computing)
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to executive stakeholders and industry partners
- Mentor junior quantum researchers and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of optimizing quantum circuit performance
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in quantum computing or related field
- Strong knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 quantum roadmap projections
