Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives for emerging technologies including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-tech solutions
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate innovation into product roadmaps and operational frameworks
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build and mentor high-performing multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and futurists
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for collaborative R&D
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or product development, with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services with measurable market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, biotech, or quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Experience scaling innovation programs from concept to commercialization
- Strong financial acumen with budget management over $3M
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) highly desirable
