Responsibilities
- Forecast industry disruptions and technological shifts through quantitative/qualitative research
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product ecosystems and market positioning
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for alternative futures
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate breakthrough innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and boards
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and domain experts
- Author thought leadership on emerging paradigms and ethical implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into executable strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and backcasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFCS preferred)
