Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps translating future scenarios into actionable product development plans
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on innovation priorities and risk assessments
- Author thought leadership reports and executive briefings on disruptive market opportunities
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and evaluate breakthrough startups
- Design and implement foresight methodologies including scenario planning and trend impact analysis
- Mentor junior strategists and establish best practices in future-focused innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts into executive narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and qualitative research methods
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
