You'll pioneer methodologies for anticipating disruption and drive initiatives that turn future possibilities into competitive advantages.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for organizational resilience and growth in future economies
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future-proofing business models and operational frameworks
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations communicating future implications to stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with predicted market evolutions
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic adaptation to future environments
- Represent the organization at futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend forecasting, and systemic analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating future insights into executable business strategies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, D3.js) and future modeling software
