Responsibilities

- Lead horizon scanning initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for climate resilience and AI governance
- Execute innovation workshops with C-suite executives on future-proofing business models
- Publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurism journals and industry whitepapers
- Mentor a cross-functional team of futurists, data scientists, and design strategists
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget for experimental 2026-pivot projects
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Strategic Foresight
- 8+ years experience in corporate strategy consulting or futurist research
- Published author in futurism with 50+ citations in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and causal layered analysis
- Proven track record of delivering 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 100 clients
- Proficiency in foresight tools like Delphi method, STEEP analysis, and causal loop modeling
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-shaping initiatives
