Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, market shifts, and socio-economic indicators to map 5-10 year strategic pathways
- Develop scenario-based models for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions and implementation roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on disruptive innovation paradigms
- Partner with R&D to incubate experimental projects targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring future-readiness and innovation maturity
- Represent the organization at global futurism forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused product development
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused strategies or frameworks
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CSFS, WFS) strongly preferred
