Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps identifying paradigm shifts in AI, biotech, and quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' with engineers, designers, and anthropologists to prototype 2026+ solutions
- Produce strategic foresight reports for executive board and investor summits
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and scout disruptive startups
- Represent Nexus at global tech forums (Web Summit, CES, Davos) as innovation authority
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published work on technological singularity or ethical AI frameworks
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Portfolio of implemented future-focused initiatives with measurable impact
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 C-suite on transformation strategies
