Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including med-surg, ICU, and emergency departments
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and facility-specific protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Supervise LVNs/CNAs and provide clinical guidance to nursing students
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain through endorsement
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience in relevant specialty
- Current BLS, ACLS, and specialty-specific certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Proficiency in Epic or similar electronic health record systems
- Eligible for visa sponsorship (H1B, TN, or J-1 visa holders encouraged)
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
