Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals assessments and preliminary examinations
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and treatments
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and medical equipment
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient education materials
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work rotating weekends and evenings
- Valid NM driver's license with clean record
- Strong patient communication skills in English/Spanish
