Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vitals, injections, and EKGs
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain clean exam rooms
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling and billing
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Collaborate with healthcare team for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen)
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid California driver's license (if driving required)
