Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
- Maintain accurate medical records and electronic documentation
- Perform vital signs and basic diagnostic tests
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
