Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs under clinical supervision
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support when required
- Maintain accurate patient care documentation and report changes in condition
- Support patients with daily activities while promoting independence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure cohesive treatment plans
Qualifications
- Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience
- Valid UK driver's license and reliable transportation (for community visits)
- Up-to-date DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Strong communication skills and empathy in patient interactions
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans precisely
- Experience with elderly care or disability support preferred
- Basic knowledge of infection control protocols
