Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to healthcare team promptly
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Maintain accurate patient records and care documentation
- Support patient activities of daily living while preserving dignity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for coordinated patient support
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience preferred
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear TB test and background check
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Reliable transportation for client visits
- Flexibility with weekday and weekend scheduling
