Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs checks and medical history documentation
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and examinations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Ensure sterile clinical environment and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Arizona state medical assistant license (if applicable)
