Responsibilities
- Harvest seasonal crops (lettuce, peppers, melons) using proper techniques
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and irrigation systems
- Maintain crop quality through sorting and packing procedures
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and food handling standards
- Assist with field preparation and post-harvest cleanup
- Participate in team-based planting and cultivation activities
- Report crop health issues to field supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic English communication skills
- No prior agricultural experience necessary
- Reliable transportation to worksite (provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Commitment to completing seasonal contract (3-6 months)
