Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops (grapes, almonds, citrus)
- Maintain field hygiene and crop quality standards
- Apply pesticides/fertilizers under EPA guidelines
- Assist in packing and sorting facilities
- Adhere to OSHA and H2A compliance protocols
- Participate in daily safety briefings
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa certification
- Minimum 6 months prior farm experience
- Ability to work 10+ hour days in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to relocate to Bakersfield area
- Pass background/drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Valid driver's license (Class A preferred)
