Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operations and personnel during the weekend shift to ensure maximum productivity and safety.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, ensuring high morale and performance standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory control team to ensure accurate stock accuracy and order fulfillment.
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation.
- Address and resolve operational issues, customer complaints, and staff concerns promptly.
- Prepare weekly shift reports and communicate performance metrics to the Site Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or logistics certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience required.
- Forklift certification and valid driver’s license are mandatory.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse management software (WMS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
