Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain stock levels within the warehouse system.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with speed and precision.
- Material Handling: Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring cargo security.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs to supervisors immediately.
- Organization: Keep workstations and aisles organized to ensure efficient workflow and safety.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Reliability: Strong commitment to punctuality and attendance.
- License: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Basic English skills for reading labels and communicating with team leads.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies in inventory and follow standard operating procedures.
