Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity problems, printer malfunctions, and application crashes.
- Document all technical interactions and resolutions in the CRM system to maintain accurate service logs.
- Collaborate with the weekday support team to escalate complex issues and ensure continuity of service.
- Perform routine system updates and patch management on weekend schedules.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new devices for incoming weekend staff.
- Maintain a high level of customer service etiquette, ensuring all client inquiries are resolved within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, LogMeIn) and ticketing systems (Zendesk, Jira).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Ability to lift and carry IT equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
