Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers across global teams
- Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize system performance and ensure security best practices across all environments
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent GlobalTech at tech conferences
- Participate in agile ceremonies and help improve development workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across time zones
- Previous experience working in distributed or remote teams
- Portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving and system design skills
