Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks in accordance with safety protocols.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from the warehouse floor and prepare them for shipment using packing materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and updating warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy before processing.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the morning shift team to ensure a smooth transition of operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred; however, we provide on-the-job training for enthusiastic candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; familiarity with handheld scanners is a plus.
- Reliability: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
