Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in ICU/ER settings during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex patient cases
- Document patient records accurately and maintain strict HIPAA compliance
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations using advanced life support protocols
- Mentor junior staff during weekend rotations
- Participate in weekend quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active DC RN license (compact license acceptable)
- Minimum 2 years ICU/ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure weekend environments
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
- Weekend availability mandatory (Sat/Sun shifts)
