Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring, EKG procedures, and phlebotomy
- Assist with daily living activities and patient mobility under RN supervision
- Accurately document patient observations and care delivery in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee CNA or PCT certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
