Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday 7AM-7PM)
- Perform clinical procedures including vitals, injections, and EKGs
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and emergency services
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict infection control protocols
- Contribute to weekend team huddles and process improvements
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced settings
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication and multi-tasking abilities
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Weekend availability mandatory (no exceptions)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Positive attitude and passion for weekend patient care
