Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users efficiently.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, updates, and backups on servers and workstations during the weekend shift.
- Help Desk Support: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support via phone, email, and in-person to ensure business continuity.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage IT equipment inventory, ensuring all assets are accounted for and in optimal condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of technical issues, resolutions, and system changes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the on-site team during the week to ensure seamless handover of weekend activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and networking concepts.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
