Responsibilities
- Monitor server performance and network traffic to ensure 99.9% uptime during weekend operations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for internal users.
- Manage and prioritize incoming support tickets using our ticketing system (Zendesk/Jira).
- Perform routine system backups, security patching, and software updates.
- Conduct remote diagnostics and provide clear, concise technical guidance to non-technical staff.
- Document all technical resolutions and maintain accurate service logs.
- Collaborate with the Monday-Friday support team to ensure seamless service continuity.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on user experience.
- Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) consistently.
