Responsibilities
- Delight patients with personalized care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Accurately monitor vital signs and document patient observations in our digital health records system
- Collaborate with RNs to implement personalized care plans and patient education
- Respond promptly to patient calls while maintaining a calm and reassuring demeanor
- Assist with medication administration under direct supervision
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Participate in weekend shift handovers and team huddles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CNA certification or medical assistant experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (training available)
- Strong communication skills with ability to read/write English fluently
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable weekend availability and punctuality essential
- Compassionate approach with commitment to patient dignity
- Experience with EHR systems a plus
