Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Participate in weekend rounds and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday) as required.
