Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and registration with exceptional efficiency
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary care teams and maintain accurate patient records
- Handle patient inquiries with empathy and resolve concerns promptly
- Assist with medical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Process insurance verifications and billing documentation
- Collaborate with weekend medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Implement HIPAA compliance protocols for all patient interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in patient services or medical administration
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience a major plus)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environments
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Spanish bilingual skills highly valued
