Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, check-in, and appointment scheduling for weekend clinic operations
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Assist with patient triage and communication between medical staff and patients
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries with accuracy
- Oversee weekend inventory management for medical supplies and equipment
- Maintain HIPAA compliance standards in all patient interactions
- Collaborate with on-call physicians to ensure seamless patient care delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- 2+ years of patient-facing healthcare or customer service experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner experience a plus)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced weekend environment
- Basic medical terminology knowledge required
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts including holidays
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
