Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring, wound care, and specimen collection
- Assist patients with daily living activities and mobility support
- Document patient observations and care activities in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Respond to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Minimum 6 months of clinical experience in healthcare setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
