Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support during weekend shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Collaborate with weekend nursing team to implement care plans
- Respond to patient calls and address immediate needs promptly
- Prepare and maintain patient areas for weekend admissions/discharges
- Participate in weekend safety rounds and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Current CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail and excellent documentation abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
