Responsibilities
- Manage patient appointments and scheduling for weekend clinic operations
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Assist with patient intake, registration, and insurance verification
- Handle confidential medical records and documentation
- Provide exceptional patient communication and support services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and data security protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification preferred
- 1+ years of healthcare or customer service experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6AM-2PM or 8AM-4PM)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
