Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments with precision and empathy
- Manage patient intake processes and electronic health records (EHR)
- Assist with clinical procedures under provider supervision
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Provide telehealth support for weekend virtual consultations
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and emergency services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare or clinical experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech knowledge a plus)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Flexibility to work rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6am-6pm)
