Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, scheduling, and electronic health records management
- Assist medical providers with clinical procedures and patient education
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Handle confidential patient communications and documentation
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict data security protocols
- Support weekend patient flow and triage in collaboration with clinical staff
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience or medical assistant certification
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Availability for all weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday 6AM-6PM)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
