Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake and scheduling for weekend clinic operations
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient education
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Respond to patient calls and triage urgent concerns
- Collaborate with on-call physicians for urgent care coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare or clinical support experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays (6am-6pm shifts)
