As a Weekend Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly during critical off-hours. We offer a competitive base salary plus a 15% weekend shift differential to reward your commitment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and inventory accuracy during weekend shifts to ensure seamless service continuity.
- Supervise a team of 5+ warehouse associates, conducting daily briefings and performance reviews.
- Manage the loading and unloading of freight, ensuring safety protocols and equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) are utilized correctly.
- Conduct rigorous quality control checks and resolve any inventory discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
- Coordinate with the Weekday Operations Manager to ensure seamless handover of duties and reporting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or related fields.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and rotating holidays.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to make quick, safe decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in basic computer software and inventory management systems.
