Responsibilities
- Tier 2 Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network issues to internal staff during weekend operations.
- Ticket Management: Monitor and resolve incoming IT service tickets efficiently using our Jira/ServiceNow system to ensure zero downtime.
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and deployment of laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance and security protocols to ensure a seamless connectivity experience for all users.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, resolutions, and technical configurations in our knowledge base.
- Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with third-party vendors for weekend repairs or emergency escalations.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical field.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote desktop tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
