Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, scan, and verify incoming and outgoing stock using handheld scanners.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Equipment Operation: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse machinery.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and data entry.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification (OSHA) is highly preferred but not required for entry-level roles.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work a consistent schedule, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
