Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic systems
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO and state healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California or eligibility for licensure by endorsement
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred for leadership roles)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
