Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in fast-paced emergency and critical care units
- Administer medications and treatment protocols per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
- Provide patient/family education on treatment and recovery
- Adhere to JCAHO and OSHA safety standards
- Mentor new nursing staff during orientation period
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license (compact license accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
